I need some time

For i have lost the courage to survive

To travel that extra mile,

To soar like a bird

To hold on when i feel unheard.

I need sometime

To cross that road

To sit still and not let the feelings implode…

One chapter surpasses the other,

But when i ponder it is not always a clover.

I need sometime to,

Gather the rubbles of yesteryear

Compose it together,

Fathom what can stay and what not forever.

I need sometime…..

Perhaps I am frightened,

Of the distances, of people, of new steps….

Perchance i am not at the decisive end.

Thoughts adrift need to sync

Courage lost has to revive,

I stood tall when the futile baggage piled on me,

I need sometime

Because i desire to thrive!
