In the forest
Dwell thousands of trees
Some speak long lost tales
Some are just tall and free

Some paths unknown
Some lead to one’s home
Some dried and shaky
With leaves tattered and torn

In the forest
Lie hidden secrets
Some buried
Some waiting to be heeded

Afar some waterfall hails
Sound so crisp
Making the air sail
Soaking it in watery trails…..

There sings a bird so sweet
Making the forest a perfect retreat,
Dancing in the rain
Somewhere a peacock flourishes again
In its entire glory and might
Arraying an enchanting sight…..

My mind is the forest
Singing and dancing,
Hiding and heeding
With lost walls still painting
With tattered thoughts still writing
Swaying along the stream
Manifesting to touch my dream.
