Thankyou 2020 for you taught us how each day is so precious. Thankyou dear 2020 for you showed how life can spin you around itself, how you start admiring which you never even noticed and realize the minute essentials which seemed to be so trivial.

No exam is easy, neither was this one. But to pass a test and get to the next grade it takes a lot of hardwork and dedication. And just when you finish your exam that subject seems to be so easy. Same is the gone year ‘2020’ which taught us to stay together, to have a life with those people who were a little distant compared to the gadgets, who we met a little less due to our busy schedules. This year gave us that abundant time to catch up on what was left out.

This year gave us difficulties but just to make us strong and independent. To cook for ourselves and family, learn new things, be more hygienic, manage in how much and what we have. It taught us to be grateful because we have our loved ones around. It coached us to just halt for a while understanding that nothing is more precious than life.

2020, you gave us a chance to explore different species of birds, a clear sky, some fresh air, little less noise on the roads and more laughter at home!
Though you were scary, did not let us go out or catch up with friends, nor did you let us watch a movie….. but that’s just your way of teaching discipline. The strictest of the teachers are always so scary. We now know that everyday going out is not at all mandatory or a movie with popcorn is equally good at home with family. No wonder you were tough!

But today, when you are gone, leaving us with 2021, we now comprehend that sitting down is sometimes important. Exploring your own self, teaching what you know and learningw what you don’t exhibits the true essence of life. Within a few days our lives turned upside down but we still survived, came out stronger, standing together, thanking for each day, for each life, for every moment. You made us realize the importance of self worth and how precious life is. Thankyou 2020 you were a good teacher!
