Here i see the rays again,
Here i watch the drowning moon,
Here i watch the birds chirping,
And i see the swings swinging.
Joy overrules the world,
Happiness has no bounds,
There’s no mayhem, no despair
I hear only merry sounds.
Walking by the street,
Giving myself a treat,
I saw a hidden child,
Peeping out, with eyes so mild.
He looked at the burger in my hand,
His piercing eyes made me halt ,
My feet froze to the land,
His reconnaissance like an ant.
He gazed at me with hungry eyes,
I passed on my treat with deep insight….
It was then that i realised ,
That every ray is not sunshine for all,
Every day is not merry after all,
World is full of prejudices,
So many children born without a bliss,
Rotten are the days for some,
Some dance with glee while some wait to end the anguish.
Pass on your tiny moment of sunshine,
It might enlight and entwine
The dark side of another world,
The subdued voice of the unheard.
